Noliva's Story

“I’m so grateful for all the services that Nery’s Promise provides for me and my children. Ms. Nery had a party for the chidlren during Halloween.

At Thanksgiving she handed out meal plates prepared with turkey, stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes, and a roll. Nery’s Promise always gave away turkeys too! That very month she gave out sign-up sheets for children’s Christmas wish lists and asked what size clothing kids wear.

So, the many sponsors geneoursly gave out toys and clothing for all the kids here in Richmond. We also love the annual back to school drive, where everyone gets their backpacks filled with pencils, pens, markers, pencils, folders, paper, binders, and notebook.

Apart from the events, every week Nery’s Promise offers tutoring in math and reading for all the students. Even adults can receive English classes for those who can’t read or write in English.

She receives clothing donations and gives them away for free to people struggling to buy clothes. And all the children and adults who participate in the weekly activities receive drinks and snacks and hot food. This organization is very generous and shares the generosity of all who give to Nery’s Promise.

I’m thoroughly impressed at the magnitude of this small organization. Ms. Nery even sponsored my son Nathaniel for the Lamar Little League – his first year in baseball! Thank all of you who donate to this place. Nery’s Promise is very organized and trustworthy and a very good steward of all that she receives from all the donors in the Fort Bend area. You are a blessing; as is Nery’s Promise to my family and my community. Thank you!”

Christmas Party

Christmas is very special at Nery’s Promise. We want no child left behind as we gather together and deliver gifts. It’s quite a huge undertaking, but we want each of God’s children to feel special and to feel loved – especially at Christmas!

Easter Celebration

We make their Easter unforgettable as we prepare for our children a whole day of fun. A powerful Easter message and a delicious feast are followed by the biggest Easter Egg Hunt in Richmond, Texas!
